Robotic milking machines for dairy cows
- Accommodating up to 70 cows per box, the GEA DairyRobot R9500 offers professional dairy producers the key advantages associated with automated milking. The DairyRobot’s modern, functional design, large touchscreen display and excellent ergonomics make for a smooth milking operation, whilst its manual support features make it especially easy to handle special-need cows.
- GEA’s DairyProQ rotary parlour opens groundbreaking production possibilities for milking large dairy herds. With 28-80 milking stations, approximately 120-400 cows can be automatically milked per hour with just one operator supervising the entire process.
Traditional milking parlours for other species
We can supply milking parlours and milking equipment, including high- and low-tech options for goats, sheep and buffalo.
Design service
Having decided on the type of milking system that will best suit your requirements, we can help you look at the best position on the farm for the parlour or robot(s). Considerations include:
- clean access to the dairy for the tanker
- keeping the dairy as close to the milking facility as possible
- the position of the milking facility in relation to cow housing and grazing access
- natural falls of the land to facilitate the removal of dirty water
- cow flow before and after milking
- the siting of shedding and cow handling facilities.
Once you are happy with the proposals and the order has been placed, we provide customised drawings with detailed specifications for you to give your builder and electrician. We will also liaise with them during the construction work to answer any queries and ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.
